Now, THIS cartoon is funny. When I first saw the cover of the New Yorker, I felt like it was missing something, and it was: the connection to make it satirical and unmistakably satirical. It needed something such as, "With visions of..." on the top, followed by a statement on the bottom such as, "dancing in the Republicans' heads."
Of course, the main thing that I did when I saw the original in the New Yorker was count my blessings, one being, of course, that I am not a Republican.
